Fab India is just fab or fabulous first because its been around since as long as I can remember...its forever evolving with innovative ideas and a range of products...
The Fab India at GK 1 is well worth a visit...
I recently ordered a product.. Their staff named Anjali (Gk-1 store) not only helped me, but made my experience smooth less from sending the photos of the product to me paying online and getting the product delivered to me at door step.
Undoubtedly, major respect to her.. 😇
I love fabindia and I do order online from Canada so obviously I couldn’t wait to go to fabindia when I was visiting India… but it was difficult to REALLY shop in this location for a number of reasons. I’m going to list what I remember in hopes that fabindia can improve their customer experience:
1- staff looked and acted very seriously 😒. No smiles, no trying to he friendly
2- staff hovered around us the whole time, the good thing was that they were not trying to be pushy to sell things to us. They were there to help but because they looked so grumpy, you didn’t want them around
3- couldn’t properly look at stuff as there was always a store employee was looking over your shoulder, again, not to sell to you but I guess they are told to be there in case customers need assistance?
4- very poor array of available sizes. Some things were available only in large, other things in small or XS. I couldn’t buy any clothing. I bought a bag.
5- before going to the store, I checked fabindia website and selected a bunch of things I wanted, none of which were available in this store!!! I hope fabindia can update their website to include store inventories.
6- this store doesn’t have any sale/discounted items which was a huge negative for me.
The highlight of this location is the cafe & the amazing customer service we received while having lunch. The gentleman working there kindly plugged in my cellphone so it was charging while I was shopping. So grateful for this.
